about
I’m a portrait photographer for one main reason
Everyone deserves an amazing portrait of themselves
Hi, my name is Deb and I’m a diehard 80s movie fan. I love quoting lines from movies like Stand by Me and Aliens to anyone who’ll listen!
Salty plums are a weird treat that only kids who grew up in Darwin know about.
I’ve dreamed about travelling around Australia in a caravan since I was 9.
My guilty pleasure still is…reading past midnight.
Meet Deb, owner + photographer
Clumsiness is my middle name. A group of uni friends and I once climbed up Mt Panorama at night in the rain to claim a souvenir stone from the giant sign. I got caught on my way over the barbed wire and had to be untangled while being parallel to the ground.
Not sure what’s more embarrassing… my knees-up happy dance or blowing my nose and sounding like the last train to Buscan.
With a husband of 16 years, two teenagers and a fluffy ginger cat called Max, our house is like a 3-ring circus (with all 3 rings going at once).
In the evenings after the kids have gone to bed you’ll find me vegging on the couch with my doona watching end-of-the-world shows on Netflix. But don’t worry, if a zombie apocalypse does happen I’ve got it all sorted!
The biggest food crime? Spoiling food with chilli. It makes me want to snap pencils.
Me: I don’t have time for other people’s drama.
Also Me: (watches Farmer Wants a Wife).
I’m an introvert at heart but love grabbing my laptop and working at a cafe.
My superpower is bringing people out of their shell and empowering them in front of the camera. I see beauty in older faces, laugh lines and imperfections.
I make photography easy and fun for busy Adelaide families like yours, to create natural and timeless photographs without the awkwardness.

The idea of being photographed can be daunting. That’s why I provide an easy, relaxing, fun experience, which is equally important as the photos themselves. With me, you and your family will feel safe and completely comfortable.
